What People's Say About Place

I’ve lived in the area for 3 years and have passed by here probably 100 times… I am sad and embarrassed that it took me this long to stop. The pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection for me. The crust is lite, airy and has an amazing crunch but yet wasn’t stiff. Flavors were great and fresh. The smoked Gouda and bacon Mac and cheese bits were top notch and though I haven’t ate the peanut butter brownie yet, I have a feeling it’s going to be killer! The staff is super friendly as well, the guy behind the counter made me feel like an old friend despite it being my first time in! Finally a pizza place I like in the area!

Loved our Grandma Pie and Meatball Calzone...giant portions!

Who would’ve thought you could find top-tier, delicious pizza tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Freehold, NY? Seriously, blink and you’ll miss the town — but trust me, you won’t miss Tony’s once you’ve been. Where do I even begin? I ordered a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Absolute perfection. The crust had just the right crunch, the sausage had that savory kick, and the pepperoni had a glorious sizzle. The sauce? Chef’s kiss. No syrupy sweetness here — just the pure, honest flavor of tomatoes doing what tomatoes were born to do. But wait, there’s more. The Chicken Parmigiana Dinner — and yes, it’s a DINNER, not some sad little plate — came with a fresh, crisp garden salad, two generous pieces of tender chicken covered in golden, bubbly mozzarella, and a side of pasta with marinara. Full transparency: the pasta was just a touch overcooked. But listen, I ordered takeout — pasta steaming itself into overtime in a container is just a sign that they’re sending you home with a piping hot meal, not a cold afterthought. Now, let’s talk about the focaccia. Perfectly crispy edges, soft, pillowy center, and seasoned just right. If focaccia could win awards, this one would have a trophy case. My only suggestion: offer a side of marinara for dipping! (I would’ve happily paid extra — and trust me, you want every excuse to eat more of that marinara.) Bottom line: If you’re within 50 miles of Freehold and you’re NOT stopping by Tony’s… rethink your life choices. Big flavor. Small town. Endless cravings. Highly, highly recommend! “Food that feeds the soul, beauty that speaks volumes, and travel that tells a story always through the eyes of Italy Loves India.” — Alyson Savino

Even after all of the Pizza I’ve tried in NYC, this blows everything else out of the water! So good every time and the staff is incredible

My favorite little pizza place. I’ve been going for years. Everyone there is always friendly and food is great. Highly recommended. We normally get a couple pizzas and some buffalo chicken tenders.
